The Geelong Regional Library Corporation is committed to making its library buildings, collections and services accessible to all who need them. This includes people who have a temporary or permanent disability, their service providers and carers.
All staff can assist people with special needs to access the physical and online collections.
A range of technologies and equipment is provided to assist those with a disability to use the libraries and their resources more easily. For more information please ask a staff member.
The Community Library Service extends library services to people of any age and their carers who are unable to visit our libraries due to disability, illness, frailty or remoteness of location and who have no one else to provide this service. These conditions may be temporary, recurring or permanent.
The service is provided free of charge and delivered by the CLS volunteer team and by referral to DoCare. Potential clients can be referred to the Community Library Service Coordinator by staff at any of our library branches, or members of the public may contact the Coordinator directly via email cath.lukin@geelonglibraries.vic.gov.au or phone 5272 6013
