Audio Books (Adult, Young Adult and Junior) are held in CD and Playaway format and include fiction and some non fiction titles.

The collection includes: - local area resources relating to the City of Greater Geelong, Golden Plains and Surf Coast Shires and the Borough of Queenscliffe - resources which it is inappropriate to retain on open access shelves because of condition; age; rarity; inability to replace; content; format or space considerations

The collection targets children aged 5-12 years and encompasses current and classic fiction for the developing, reluctant and advanced reader with special emphasis on Australian titles. Simple fiction for children aged 5-8 years is labelled E (Eager Readers)

Adult and Junior resources cover a range of materials and subject areas at a general level of interest. They are shelved in one sequence by the Dewey Decimal Classification (call) number, which appears on a label at the bottom of the spine or on the bottom left hand corner of the front cover.
Junior materials have yellow call number labels.
Resources include books, Reference materials for use within the branch, CD ROMs, documentary style DVDs which support informational needs and Language Learning Kits
