Speaker: Cheryl Dissanayake, Ph.D - Associate Professor & Reader Director, Olga Tennison Autism Research Centre
Biography:Assoc. Prof Cheryl Dissanayake is Founder and Director of the Olga Tennison Autism Research Centre at La Trobe University, which is the first research facility in Australia dedicated to Autism Spectrum Disorders. She has been an autism researcher since 1984, and has established and led an active research program in the School of Psychological Science since 1996. Cheryl serves on the Professional Panel of Autism Victoria, and is co-founder and convenor of one of its reference groups, the Autism Spectrum Disorder Research Group. Cheryl is a Registered Psychologist in Victoria.
