This special exhibition, developed from the Geelong Heritage Centre's Archive Collection, has been created to commemorate the Centenary of Armistice Day on 11 November 1918. The exhibition explores many themes including the reactions to the end of WWI, peace celebrations, welcoming home the men and women returning from war and life after WWI for people in our region. Remembering the End will appeal to students from upper primary and all secondary levels as it explores local WWI ANZAC involvement and the impact of WWI on our local communities.
